Tips on finding videos/websites for reviewing specific academic skills:
Google a specific academic skill, such as double digit subtraction or logarithms, under the Web or Video heading in Google. The search results will amaze your students.
Search Youtube.com for the specific academic skill if you only want videos.
Use the iTunes U tab in iTunes for finding informational videos, AND for searching MI Learning, a Michigan project for using teachers to create videos using MI standards. iTunes is a free download for either MAC or PC.
Try going to khanacademy.org and search for a specific course with its specific topics, for example: Chemistry - Periodic Table Trends: Ionization Energy , or Algebra 1 - Multiplication of Rational Numbers , or for elementary students; Arithmetic - Level 2 Addition . These videos (over 1200) are approximately 2 minutes in length and deal with very specific course topics.
